Michelle Navarre

Michelle Navarre is the Director of Adult Degree Completion & Credit for Prior Learning at University of Maine at Farmington. She is the former Associate Provost for Learning and Director of the Learning in Public Program at College Unbound. Previously, she was the Associate Professor, the founding director of the Writing Program, the Associate Dean of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, and the Senior Director for Innovation at DePaul’s School for New Learning; and an Assistant Professor at Chicago City Colleges. Her research has focused on adult learners, competency-based education, credit for prior learning, writing instruction, and literacy studies.
