Billi Mitchell, SHRM-CP, joined the University of Maine at Farmington team in December 2025 as a Human Resources Project Specialist. She brings nearly two decades of military leadership experience plus an additional eight-plus years of progressive human resources and talent acquisition expertise across the corporate and manufacturing sectors . Billi specializes in aligning HR strategies with organizational goals to drive operational excellence. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a proven ability to implement workforce planning and talent development initiatives. Her comprehensive background spans all aspects of HR, from developing diverse hiring strategies and personnel development to managing complex HR operations and regulatory compliance. Billi is committed to delivering impactful, people-centered results and fostering high-performing teams within the UMF community.
