Student Life

Close-Knit Campus Community

At the University of Maine at Farmington (UMF), you’re not just another face in the crowd, you are a part of an active, welcoming that is full of opportunity and connection. Start your day with a smoothie at the Beaver Lodge, fit in a workout at the Fitness & Recreation Center, and head to class knowing everything you need is just steps away. Between classes, enjoy campus dining at South Dining Hall or walk to downtown Farmington to explore local restaurants and coffee shops with friends. Evenings might mean campus events, residence hall hangouts, or planning your next outdoor adventure.

If you’re looking for a college experience where residence life, dining, campus activities, and community all come together, you’ll find your place at UMF.

Living & Dining

We offer a welcoming, caring campus that celebrates individuality.  Living on campus makes it easier to build connections, access resources, and fully engage in campus life from the start. It’s also a great way to quickly meet people, feel supported, and become part of the community right away.
