Lucas Kellett
Biography
Professor Kellett is a broadly trained archaeologist who teaches courses in archaeology, anthropology, climate change, geography and geographic information systems (GIS). Since 2002 he has conducted archaeological research in highland Peru which focuses on changing prehistoric settlement patterns, human-environmental interactions, warfare and climate change. His current research examines long-term mobility patterns in the Inca occupation of the eastern edge of the Andes in the Paucartambo area (Cusco region of Peru). Luke has led UMF travel courses to Newfoundland, Canada, the Four Corners of the US and Peru. He enjoys skiing, hiking, mountain biking and traveling internationally.
