Shelley Hickey

Shelley joined the UMF community in 2017. She is a Maine native who brought vast knowledge in adolescent and young adult medicine to her position. Her background includes experience working for the State of Maine Bureau of Health, leadership positions at Maine Medical Association and Maine Ambulatory Care Coalition, and experience providing rural primary health care and school based health care at various middle and high schools in central Maine. Shelley delivers competent and compassionate health care and education with a holistic approach. She focuses on individualized assessment of physical, psychological, and social dimensions for effective implementation of specialized plans of care.
