Stanley Spilecki
Biography
Stan has been in the theater his entire adult life, even when working in other industries. After earning his BA as a double major in English and theater from Providence College he free-lanced extensively in Providence, RI with companies such as 2nd Story Theatre, Trinity Rep, and Opera RI. He was the resident designer/TD for the critically acclaimed Wickenden Gate Theatre for three seasons. Other regional theaters that he designed worked with include Triangle Theater of Boston, Goodspeed Opera House and Long Wharf Theatre in Connecticut. He has designed for The Public Theatre in Lewiston, Maine, Community Little Theater in Auburn and was a co-founder, resident designer/TD, and occasional actor in the multiple New England Theater Conference Moss Hart award winning Out of the Box Theater Company in Lewiston, ME. He has been the Resident Designer/TD of University of Maine-Farmington’s Alumni Theater and Emery Community Art Center since 2011.
