Degree Completion Program — finish what you started
The UMF Degree Completion Program is designed for individuals who began college elsewhere—or who bring valuable prior learning and experience—and are ready to finish their bachelor’s degree at Farmington.
This flexible program is built around what UMF does best: offering a personalized, supportive education that works at your pace, on your schedule, and around your life.
No matter if it’s been a few years or a few decades since you were last in college, we’re here to help you reach the finish line.
High School Students: Create a path to college as unique as you!
Early College at the University of Maine at Farmington gives you the opportunity to experience college firsthand—exploring your interests, engaging in future career pathways, and collaborating with UMF faculty and students through hands-on projects, discussions, and debates.
With a focus on Credits with Purpose, we help you choose courses that align with your goals, often reducing the number of classes you’ll need in college—saving both time and money.

Participating in an Early College program can reduce the number of high school classes you need to take– some college courses may count toward your high school requirements.
Early College programs are available at all of Maine’s public universities, each with its own unique offerings. At UMF, we take pride in providing students with small, student-centered classes that emphasize hands-on learning—whether in person or online.
