Chiropractic 3+3 Program
Fast-Track Your Future: Become a Chiropractor in Just 6 Years!
The University of Maine at Farmington offers a unique 3+3 program in partnership with Logan University, allowing students to complete their undergraduate and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees in just six years instead of the traditional seven. Students spend the first three years completing their undergraduate studies at UMF, which serves as their home institution. Afterward, they transfer to Logan University to begin the Doctor of Chiropractic Degree Program, finishing the remaining requirements in three years.
This accelerated pathway not only saves time but also reduces the overall cost of education. The program includes concurrent enrollment in basic introductory courses that satisfy the academic requirements for both a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from UMF and the Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University. This integrated approach ensures a smooth transition between institutions and a more efficient route to becoming a licensed chiropractor.
