Empowering Educators to Teach English Effectively

UMF’s Graduate Certificate in ESOL prepares practicing teachers to effectively support and teach students who are non-native English speakers.

The Graduate Certificate in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at UMF equips teachers with the tools and strategies needed to create inclusive, engaging classrooms for students learning English as an additional language. The program emphasizes proficiency-oriented and communicative language instruction, helping educators design lessons that foster both language development and meaningful interaction among students.
