B.A. Degree with a major in Psychology

Unlock Minds, Shape Futures

UMF’s Psychology program offers a supportive environment to explore psychology, build lasting faculty mentorships, and gain deeper insight into yourself and others.

Beyond your coursework, UMF encourages you to gain practical, real-world experience through internships, independent study, service-learning, and practica. These opportunities allow you to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom to hands-on projects and professional settings, deepening your understanding of psychology in action.

For instance, students in the Positive Psychology course keep a gratitude journal, helping them experience the benefits of recognizing the “gifts” in their lives. In the Death & Dying course, students write their obituary, prompting meaningful reflection on how they want to be remembered and the legacy they wish to leave behind.

Save more than $5,500 per year in tuition.

Through the NEBHE Tuition Break program, students from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont receive a $5,670 tuition discount on all UMF degree programs.
