UMF’s Theatre program gives students hands-on experience in acting, directing, and technical production through real stage performances.

The University of Maine at Farmington Theatre program offers students hands-on opportunities to develop their skills in a real-world setting. Whether performing as actors, taking the lead as directors, or working behind the scenes as part of the technical crew, students gain practical experience that prepares them for a career in theater.

Through involvement in actual productions, students learn the full spectrum of theater work, from creative collaboration to technical execution. This immersive approach helps students build confidence, refine their craft, and explore multiple facets of theatrical performance and production.
