Records and Registration

Records and Registration are the keepers and protectors of your permanent student record, from admission through graduation, keeping it from unauthorized access and destruction. We provide academic transcripts, verify enrollment, administer VA benefits, approve graduation and schedule courses. We also administer the academic policies set by the University of Maine at Farmington and the University of Maine System, ensuring fair, consistent practice. Our mission is to provide high quality, friendly support and service to students, faculty and staff while upholding the ethical and professional standards of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers.

Enrollment Verifications at UMF

Students who need enrollment verification for purposes such as insurance, loan deferment, or other official needs can request one through MaineStreet. Simply select Enrollment Verification from the Other Academic drop-down in your Student Center. Requests are processed weekly and mailed to the address provided by the student.

Degree Verifications at UMF

The University of Maine at Farmington partners with the National Student Clearinghouse to handle all degree verification requests. You can contact them online, by phone, fax, email, or mail to verify your degree for employers, graduate schools, or other official purposes. Visit www.degreeverify.com or reach out via the contact details provided to request verification.
