Everyone’s Resource Depot is now open at the University of Maine at Farmington! This non-profit organization encourages the community to donate reusable materials and explore creative ways to put them to good use. From pens and paper to other classroom essentials, our mission is to make learning more accessible while promoting sustainability.

Housed on the bottom floor of the Theodora Kalikow Education Center, located at the corner of Lincoln and High Street, our main entrance is accessible from Parking Lot 23, behind the Education Center. Everyone’s Resource Depot: Reuse, Create, Inspire

Everyone’s Resource Depot is a non-profit that collects reusable materials from local businesses and community members, offering them at very low cost. Focused on recycling and creativity, the Depot encourages customers to take only what they will use, ensuring materials are repurposed and inspiring everyone to create something new from simple supplies.

Kids LOVE our PROJECT BAGS!

Everyone’s Resource Depot decorates a seasonal bulletin board showcasing projects made from donated materials. To inspire creativity, the Depot offers project bags for just $0.50, containing all the supplies needed to complete fun crafts—like “Under the Sea Collage,” “Build Your Own Robot,” and “Make a Monster” (just bring your own glue and scissors!).

How can I get involved?

Everyone’s Resource Depot welcomes donations, volunteers, and customers of all kinds. Check our wishlist, help with events, or join our Board, and use donated materials to create, learn, and reuse.

Teaching/Learning Connections

Everyone’s Resource Depot is a valuable resource for preservice teachers, current teachers, students, and parents. Although currently closed to the public due to COVID-19, materials can be arranged for pickup by appointment. The Depot offers a wide range of educational supplies, including reusable mazes, books, workbooks, learning games, art supplies, posters, maps, project bags, and classroom essentials—perfect for all ages and learning needs.
