Maine Big Night: Amphibian Migration Monitoring

Western Maine Audubon is sponsoring a talk by Greg LeClair on the massive annual breeding migration of amphibians in Maine known as “big nights.” As many of these amphibians hop through the landscape, they face many obstacles to reach their breeding grounds – natural barriers, predators and roads. MBN is a community science project to record data on amphibian crossings and assist creatures across roads to reduce mortality. Western Maine Audubon invites you to learn more and how you can help.
