Movie – RUMBLE: The Indians Who Rocked the World.

Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked The World is a Sundance Film Festival award-winning documentary honoring the contributions of Native American musicians to rock music. It features profiles on Indigenous artists such as: Link Wray, inventor of the rock power chord and who wrote and performed the song Rumble (the only instrumental song banned from radio), guitar legend Jimi Hendrix, songwriter and The Band guitarist Robbie Robertson, Ozzy Osbourne drummer Randy Castillo, blues legend Charley Patton, influential jazz singer Mildred Bailey, renowned rock guitarists Jesse Ed Davis and Stevie Salas, the band Redbone, and many others. Part of UMF’s Indigenous Peoples’ Celebration 2024.
