The program draws inspiration from the UMF course Music and Stories, co-taught this semester by professors Steven Pane and Lewis Robinson. The course examines the many ways narrative and music intersect—how composers shape character, contrast, and emotion through sound, and how stories in literature and other arts similarly convey human experience through structure, pacing, and tone. FREE. Open to the Public. Sponsored by Division of the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, University of Maine at Farmington. Contact Shari Witham, 207-778-7425.
