The University of Maine at Farmington is a proud member of NCAA Division III and competes in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC). UMF athletes compete with heart, integrity, and sportsmanship—representing their university with pride both on and off the field.

In addition to our NAC affiliations, UMF is also a member of the United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association (USCSA), allowing our athletes to take full advantage of Maine’s iconic winter terrain. Our alpine and Nordic ski teams compete regionally and nationally, continuing a long tradition of excellence in snow sports.
