Group Fitness Classes are free to UMF students & employees, and FRC members, and they require no advance registration. For the most up-to-date news and info, join the UMF FRC Group Fitness Facebook page.

BOSU Balance

Geared towards the older active adult, however anyone is welcome! This class will utilze the BOSU to challenge and improve your balance. We do recommend you have good shoes.

Cardio Dance

Fun music, fun moves, and good vibes for a great cardio workout!

GymRax Circuit

Learn how to effectively use each part of the Gym Rax while getting in a great cardio and strength workout.

HeartTime Water

All of our Water Workout classes are low impact but appropriate for everyone from the older active adult to the athlete. A great way to change up your workout and to get in the pool! Try one today!

Spin

A big time cardio class on the specially designed bikes. Your instructor will take you on a great ride using some visualization and motivational music to challenge and inspire you. A great low impact exercise.

Strength & Balance

Designed for the older active adult the HT Strength & Balance provides instruction for total body resistance training, so important for muscle and bone health, as well as incorporating balance exercise aimed toward falls prevention.

Water HIIT

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) in the pool. This half hour class is sure to get your heart pumping.

Yoga Flow

Mind/body class utilizing a combination of standing, seated, and lying poses emphasizing strength, balance, & flexibility.

Yoga and Balance

A yoga class for everyone, Yoga & Balance will incorporate mostly standing poses or utilize the use of a chair for seated poses to improve flexibility and balance through both dynamic movements and static poses.
