Looking for an easy and affordable way to get off campus and explore? UMF’s Weekend Excursions program offers monthly round-trip getaways during the school year, giving students the perfect opportunity to recharge, see new sights, and enjoy time with friends. Whether it’s a day in the city, a cultural event, or a fun outdoor adventure, each trip is designed to provide a refreshing break from your routine.

Recognized for its value and accessibility, Weekend Excursions makes it simple to take a step away from the books and discover more of what Maine—and beyond—has to offer. All you have to do is hop on board, relax, and let the adventure begin!

We also offer shuttle service from campus to the Concord Coach Lines bus station in Augusta. From there you can catch the Portland Concord Coach Lines / Downeaster Train and on to Boston’s South Station and Logan Airport.
