Lockwood Hall

Independent & Connected

Lockwood Hall at UMF is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a mix of independence and community. Most rooms are singles (so yes—your own space!), with a few doubles if you want a roommate. You’ll be right on campus, just a short walk from classes, dining, and all the action. There’s a big shared kitchen and hangout space where you can cook with friends, chill, or catch fun events hosted by your Community Assistants. With support from an Area Director and a team of upper-class CAs, Lockwood is more than just a place to sleep—it’s a place to connect, grow, and make the most of college life.

Independent and Connected

  • Lockwood Hall is a co-ed cooperative living community designed for students who are looking for more independent living opportunities.

Convenient On-Campus Living with Room to Connect

Offering mostly single-room housing, with a few double-rooms, it provides the convenience of on-campus living with easy access to classrooms and campus events. A large communal kitchen and dining area allow residents the option to utilize the space to hang out with friends and attend CA programs.

Guided by Leaders, Built by Community

An Area Director oversees the hall, supporting residents in building a positive, holistic community experience. Additionally, 4 Community Assistants—all upper-class UMF students—help foster community and encourage involvement in campus life.

Lockwood Hall features community-style restrooms.

Quiet comfort, close community, and the perfect place to feel at home.
