Scott Hall – North

Community Rooted in Connection

Scott Hall-North is a co-ed residence hall at UMF that offers both regular and large single room options.

Living in Scott-North also means enjoying access to the Scott Hall Complex’s spacious main floor lounge. It’s a popular spot for students to relax, shoot pool, play board games with friends, or collaborate on group study sessions—making it easy to connect with others and feel part of the campus community.

The Scott Hall Complex

Scott North is part of the Scott Hall Complex, which also includes Scott South and Scott West.

Scott Hall is UMF’s largest residence hall—an expansive three-story building offering a vibrant residential experience. Scott North is “co-ed” by neighbor, and offers single-user bathrooms. The lower level of Scott North includes a full kitchen and a large laundry room for added convenience.

Supportive Staff and Community Leadership

Scott North is overseen by an Area Director. This staff member promotes holistic student development and works to enhance the residential experience.

In addition, upper-class students serve as Community Assistants (CAs), helping to build a strong sense of community and offering programs that support academic, personal, and social well-being.

Living Details and Student Essentials

Each floor in the Scott Hall Complex is labeled by number and direction—North, South, or West—making it easy to navigate.

First-year students living on campus are required to enroll in the All-Access Meal Plan for their first semester, ensuring easy access to on-campus dining throughout the semester.
