Scott Hall – West

Private Spaces, Shared Connections

Scott Hall West is a co-ed residence hall offering both standard and large single rooms, providing students with extra privacy and personal space. It’s also home to UMF’s new Veteran & Active Duty Living Learning Community, creating a supportive environment for those who have served or are currently serving in the military.

As part of the larger Scott Hall Complex, residents of Scott West have access to the spacious main floor lounge. This shared space features a pool table, board games, and areas for group study sessions—making it a central hub for both relaxation and connection with other students across the complex.

Stunning Views and Convenient Living

Scott Hall West is part of the larger Scott Hall Complex, UMF’s largest residence hall located on Main Street across from the Admissions Office. This three-story building offers residents unique features like large panoramic windows on the upper floor, with views of Prescott Field and nearby Titcomb Mountain ski area. The lower level includes a spacious laundry room and a full kitchen, providing convenient amenities to support student life.

Community-Focused Support and Living

The residence hall is managed by an Area Director dedicated to fostering a strong sense of community and supporting student development. Upper-class Community Assistants play a vital role by organizing programs that promote academic, personal, and social well-being.

Floors are organized by number and direction—North, South, and West—for easy navigation. All first-year students are required to participate in the All-Access Meal Plan for their first semester, ensuring access to campus dining throughout the year.

UMF’s Veteran & Active-Duty Living Learning Community

UMF is proud to introduce the new Veteran & Active-Duty Military Living Learning Community on the lower floor of Scott Hall-West. This dedicated space offers veterans and active-duty service members comfortable large single rooms and a supportive environment where they can live, study, and connect with peers who share similar experiences.

Members benefit from tailored resources and services designed specifically for military students, while also enjoying full access to broader campus programs. For those seeking a welcoming community that balances focused support with the traditional college experience, this Living Learning Community is an ideal home.

Your space, your pace, your community.
