Learning Access Center

The Learning Access Center (LAC) at UMF is dedicated to ensuring that all students, including those with disabilities, have equal access to the university's academic programs and campus life.

Appointments ate Monday through Thursday, 8:00-4:00. Drop-in hours are Friday, 8:00-12:30. Located at Franklin Hall, 1st Floor – Room 103.

Services Offered

  • Academic and Housing Accommodations: The LAC offers support in areas such as classroom and testing accommodations, housing adjustments, and other necessary services to minimize barriers and promote equitable opportunities for students with disabilities. UMF

  • Testing Services: UMF’s Testing Services, situated on the third floor of Franklin Hall, provide a variety of testing options, including professional licensure exams (e.g., Praxis I & II, ASE Automotive Exams, ParaPro), graduate entrance exams (e.g., GRE, TOEFL), and placement exams (e.g., CLEP, Accuplacer).

Accommodation Request Process

Students seeking accommodations should initiate the process through the Accommodate system available via myCampus.
