Andrew Willihan ’06
Biography
As a proud alumnus, Andrew Willihan ’06 brings extensive experience in leadership, philanthropy, and strategic relationship building to the Ferro Alumni Center.
During his UMF tenure, Andrew served as Assistant Snow Sports Director, Head Alpine Coach, and Director of Mainely Outdoors (2016–2021) before directing the Snow Sports Program (2021–2024)—guiding the team to national championships and earning 2022 USCSA National Coach of the Year honors. Throughout his career, he has supported major capital initiatives, secured transformational gifts, and aligned donor passions with institutional goals.
In his new role, Andrew will focus on building connections with major donors and foundations while strengthening partnerships to advance the university’s mission. He lives in Wilton with his family and remains deeply active in the western Maine community, while also serving as a National Faculty Member for the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Sport Education Department.
