Mainely Outdoors

Skip the cost of buying outdoor gear. UMF’s on-campus Mainely Outdoors program offers free gear rentals, guided trips, and outdoor experiences, making it easy for students to enjoy hiking, paddling, camping, biking, skiing, and more throughout western Maine.

Libraries and Rentals

Your UMF ID unlocks access to valuable academic resources both on and off campus. At the UMF Mantor Library, students can borrow laptops, use desktop computers and printers, access research databases, and take advantage of makerspace equipment and study spaces. Education students also have access to the Spenciner Curriculum Materials Center, featuring classroom resources, children’s literature, educational games, and teaching materials. Students can also enjoy the collections, digital resources, programs, and community services available through the Farmington Public Library.
