Gerard Bailey ’25

Gerard Bailey joined UMF IT Support Services as a student employee in 2017, and he was hired as full-time staff in 2021 to supervise the IT Help Desk in Mantor Library. In his current role of Technology Support Technician, Gerard provides in-person IT support for students, staff, faculty, and anyone visiting Mantor Library. Beyond working for the University, Gerard serves on the Board of Trustees for Farmington Public Library, where he is a member of the Technology Committee. He enjoys reading and walking along Maine’s scenic hiking trails with his son. Gerard is currently taking classes through UMA in their Paralegal Studies program.
