Jessica Isler Nickerson

Jess is passionate about helping adult learners finish what they started and achieve their higher education goals. She guides non-traditional students through flexible online, hybrid, and on-campus degree pathways. Through her work with Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) Jess helps students turn their real-world experience—such as professional credentials, certifications, and workplace learning—into degree credits that save them both time and money.

Outside of UMF, Jess loves taking advantage of Maine’s great outdoors with her family. Depending on the season, you can find them skiing at Sugarloaf, hiking in the mountains, swimming and paddling in local lakes, or working in their garden.
