UMF Fitness & Recreation Center offers fun-filled Summer Daze Camp, June 15 – Aug 7
FARMINGTON, ME (May 27, 2026)—Looking for a fun summer camp in the Farmington area? The University of Maine at Farmington Fitness and Recreation Center is once again offering its annual Summer Daze Camp for children going into grades 1-7 in the fall. The camp runs for eight, 5-day sessions from Monday through Friday, June 15 through Aug. 7, 2026. Sign up for one or more weeks!
The camp offers themed weeks of indoor, outdoor and travel activities in a safe and supportive environment. These include swimming, water games, sports, arts and crafts, hiking and field games. Field trips are planned every Wednesday and will include visits to Ferry Beach, Popham Beach, Mt. Blue State Park and Funtown Splashtown. Campers meet every Friday at Kineowatha Park in Wilton.

Prehistoric Pioneers- Monday, June 15
Ancient Civilizations – Monday, June 22
Enter the World of Knights, Castles, and Dragons! – Monday, June 29
Age of Exploration- Monday, July 6
Wild West & Frontier- Monday, July 13
Inventors & Industrial Age- Monday, July 30
Modern Day Heroes- Monday, July 27
Future Explorers – Monday, August 3
