Study Abroad options

Study Abroad Providers

Most students who choose to study abroad do so through a study abroad provider. When studying with a provider, you will pay a program fee, rather than your normal UMF tuition. Providers offer programs all around the world and usually come with a number of benefits like help applying for student visas and special insurance coverage. If you are considering studying abroad, look through each of the following UMF approved providers and find the program you feel is the best fit for you!

Direct Exchange Programs

UMF offers direct exchange programs with two international universities. Unlike studying abroad with a provider, on a direct exchange, you will pay your normal UMF tuition plus additional costs associated with travel.

National Student Exchange

The National Student Exchange is for students wishing to undertake short term study at another university in the United States. While UMF is not currently a NSE member, we can arrange a Guest Student Exchange on your behalf!
