University of Maine at Farmington's Student-Operated Radio Station
WUMF (91.5 FM) is a student-operated radio station located on the campus of the University of Maine at Farmington. WUMF broadcasts 24 hours a day at 91.5 FM in the Farmington area, as well as online, and seeks to represent a wide range of music tastes with a strong alternative focus. WUMF reports to the NACC Radio Chart and is always accepting music, with a desire to introduce new and engaging music to the community.
WUMF began operation as a station in 1972, which solidifies the station as one of the longest-running student organizations on the campus of the University of Maine at Farmington.
