From Maine’s lobster fisheries to gambling behavior research, UMF Data Analytics students are applying real-world data to meaningful questions. Working with Professor Lori Koban, students are building financial simulation tools for a local lobster business and analyzing statewide survey data to better understand patterns in decision-making and risk.
