Professional, Certified, and Committed to Campus Safety

The UMF Department of Public Safety / Campus Police is staffed by fully trained police officers that are certified by the Maine Criminal Justice Academy. All crimes are investigated by seasoned police officers and prosecuted by the Franklin County District Attorney’s Office.
