Congratulations on choosing the University of Maine at Farmington — we’re thrilled to welcome you to our community! You’ve made an incredible choice, and now it’s time to take the next steps toward becoming an official UMF Beaver. Whether you’re preparing to register for classes, explore housing options, or connect with your future classmates, this is where your UMF journey truly begins.

There are just a few important steps to complete before the real fun starts — and we’ll be here to guide you every step of the way. From attending orientation and submitting final documents to exploring campus life and student resources, you’ll find everything you need right here. And remember, our team is always available if you have questions or need a little extra support as you get ready for your first semester at Farmington.

First Things First: Forms

Head over to myCampus fill out the necessary forms.

• Room & Board License
• Course Planning Form (for First-Year students only)

Head over to MaineStreet fill out the necessary forms.

• Financial Aid Award
• To-Do List
• Financial Terms & Conditions Agreement

Once you sign in to myCampus with your username and password, you’re just a click away from Mainestreet and your UMF email (use the Launchpad on the myCampus home page).

Be sure to check your new maine.edu email account often — you’ll receive important information there.

Second Things Second: Additional Documentation

Do you have additional things to submit? This is not a one-size-fits-all process. Not sure if you need additional documentation? Check in with your Admissions Counselor by email, text, or phone.

Third Things Third: Preparing to Start at UMF

When your class schedule is ready, it’ll be visible in Mainestreet. First-Year students will complete a Course Planning Form prior to registration. Transfer students will be contacted by their academic department for class registration information.
