Brandi Rideout ’06 Named 2026 Outstanding Alumni Award Recipient

The UMF Ferro Alumni Center is proud to honor Brandi Rideout ’06 as a 2026 Outstanding Alumni Award recipient. A first-generation college student from Mattawamkeag, Maine, Brandi transferred to UMF from the University of Southern Maine and earned her degree in Community Health in 2006. At UMF, she was a two-sport student-athlete in basketball and softball and found a strong sense of community that shaped her personal and professional growth. Brandi credits UMF with helping her find her voice, build confidence, and form lasting friendships—one of whom nominated her for this award. Consider honoring Brandi’s achievement with a gift to the Friends of Athletics Fund. Congratulations, Brandi, on this well-deserved recognition!

UMF Ski Day at Sugarloaf: A Winter Adventure to Remember

On January 23rd, UMF alumni headed to Sugarloaf for an unforgettable Ski Day filled with fresh mountain air, snowy slopes, and plenty of fun. Participants enjoyed a full day of skiing, snowboarding, and relaxing at the lodge, making the most of Maine’s winter weather. From first-time skiers to seasoned riders, everyone shared in the excitement, laughter, and community spirit that made this trip a highlight of the season.
